Greetings from Nepal! Today Kalsang and I went to check on the progress of the Vajrakilaya Mandala carving for the P’hurba Peace Mandala Project. Most of the carved figurines for the eight charnel grounds, offering dakinis, and main p’hurbas have been completed and will be painted soon. Now they are working on the base of the mandala – the ring of fire, water, wind, dorjes – and next will be the main structure of the palace with the four gates. We are very pleased that we are on schedule, and it should be completed within the next few months!
