Chimed Palter Lu Jong weekend
Weekened of Lu Jong, Tibetan Yoga
May 2-3, 2020
Khandro Kunzang will introduce a special teaching on Lu Jong, a form of Tibetan Yoga which was developed by the great Tsa-Lung master, Lama Pema Dorje Rinpoche, called Chimed Palter. This practice involves a series of movement sequences, self-massage, meditation on White Tara, purification of the elements, eye gazes and mantra recitation. The movements are not difficult and can be done by most people, and modified for those with limited mobility. This practice helps to remove blockages from the subtle energy body and vitalizes the body, promoting longevity. It is perfect for meditators who wish to add a physical practice to balance long periods of sitting. It can be done every day and easily be including in your daily practice for maximum benefit.
For those who took the Kum Nye teaching last year, you will find this to be a nice compliment to your Kum Nye practice as it adds a structured and traditional sequence of practices that come from the more advanced tsa-lung body of teachings.Cost: $100 donation.
