The Nature of Prosperity – How to Stabilize Your ‘Yang’ Energy
Khandro Kunzang will be offering a weekend of teachings and practices that focus on the topic of wealth, abundance and prosperity, from the Vajrayana point-of-view. What is wealth energy, known as ‘yang’ in Tibetan? How do we loose it, how can we increase it? We will discuss the true nature of ‘wealth’ as the accumulation of beneficial resources that enhance our ability to practice and to serve others. Yang is one of the energetic aspects of human existence which can flutuate greatly over the course of our lives. Having an understanding of how this energy effects us according to outer cisrcumstances and our own actions, can help in not only preventing economic hardship, but also to strengthen our economic resilience during these chaotic times.
Once we understand the background causes to poverty and lack, we can then take steps to imporving our situation. The Vajrayana Path is full of skillful methods that have been passed down to us through Padmasambhava’s lineage that help to deal with all aspects of our human situation, including the need for economic resources in order to accomplish our aspirations. In addition we will learn about the tradition of Treasure Vases, the use of yantra images and other substances that are used for increasing yang.
Khandro Kunzang will give transmission for several key practice texts and Sutras, and give instruction on how to perform some of these short rituals as part of your practice. The texts and practices include the Palchenmo Sutra, consice offerings to Black Dzambhala, Vasudharani, Tseringma; Len-chak torma offerings from the T’hroma cycle, a sang offering to Orgyen Norlha, and the Tashi Yang-gug from the Rigdzin Sogdrub.
