We are very pleased to announce our continuing collaboration with Dharma College to offer a deep exploration of mind’s true nature. Based on Tarthang Tulku’s groundbreaking text, Revelations of Mind, Dr. Richard Dixey and Khandro Kunzang will guide us on a journey into discovering the inner workings and potential of our own mind.

The book ‘Revelations of Mind’ is a contemporary yet profound teaching for liberating the modern mind. This ten-month course, divided into five semesters, will work from Searcher Reaches Lands LimitsVol 1 & 2; an in-depth commentary written by Dr. Dixey.

How is our ordinary consciousness constructed? Why is internal chatter and stress such a central part of our experience? How can we access non conceptual engagement when all we have is a web of words? In this course we will explore the structure of perception, the role language plays in self and other identity, and the roots of human suffering, leading to a new appreciation of how we construct our experience. Closely coupling classes with meditation exercises, we deepen our understanding of the ongoing relationship between what we see and what we think, revealing a freedom within mind that is totally unexpected. This new freedom is deepened until it can be accessed at any point- a true Revelation of Mind.

Format
There are five six week terms, totalling 30 classes overall, with a revision class at the end of each term, and a weekly movement class. Classes are recorded and you will have access to the recordings for your personal use only. Each week, there will be a short lecture followed by experiential practices and discussion. Weekly handouts will provide inspirational readings and the instructions you need to continue your experiential learning at home. An online community portal gives you the optional ability to meet and dialog with your fellow students. A review class is offered at the end of each term, and an embodied movement practice class is offered weekly.

This course is open to all who are interested in a deep dive into the nature of our mind and non-dual experience. It is especially suited for those who are studying the Khorde Rushen with Khandro Kunzag and is a continuation of the Mind Rushen.

From Khandro Kunzang:

Revelations of Mind, and the commentary Searchers Reaches Lands Limit, present profound contemporary approaches to traditional Buddhist teachings on the discovering our true nature. I found this course to be a perfect support for traditional Dzogchen practices as it illuminates profound concepts that can get lost in translation and cultural differences. Richard’s teaching style is engaging, thought provoking and frankly, ingenious. I am very excited to collaborate with Dharma College to make this course available to our students and highly encourage those who are taking the Khorde Rushen to enroll in this course to supplement your training.
