Khorde Rushen: Distinguishing Between the Ordinary and Sublime
with Khandro Kunzang

A ten-week online course that runs every Tuesday from June 20 to Sept. 5, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm CST (Chicago time)

Suggested donation: $108 for returning students – $190 for new students

Khandro Kunzang will be offering another online series of teachings on the Khorde Rushen practice. This will be a continuation and review of the extensive online course given in 2022. This course will include access to the material from last year’s teachings (17 videos with over 34 hours of teachings and updated texts). In addition, we will be meeting during our weekly zoom class to go deeper into the practice. This course is especially created for students who participated in last year’s teachings. New students are also welcome and will be required to watch the teaching videos from last year.

Khorde Rushen is a series of practices that are considered to be the Preliminary Practices (Ngondro) to the Dzogchen Path. Khorde Rushen literally means to separate or distinguish between our samsaric, ordinary, or relative truth reality from our inherent Buddha nature, or absolute truth. This series of skillful practices are divided into three sections: Body Rushen, Speech Rushen and Mind Rushen, as well as outer, inner and secret levels.

This will be practice-intensive, and students should be ready to participate. Some lecture and theory will also be presented, but this series is meant to introduce you to these profound methods of practice in order to become familiarized with them.

We will be primarily following the text format from the Khamsum Yangdrol of the Konchok Chidu, with supplemental practices from the Dudjom Ter and Jang Ter, in accordance with the oral teachings of Acharya Dawa Chhodak Rinpoche and Kunzang Dorje Rinpoche.

This course will be recorded and video will be available after the class for those who are not able to attend the live sessions.

Registration is required. To register: support@saraswatipublications.org

Registration Donation of $108/190 can be sent here: https://www.saraswatipublications.org/product/donation/
