Vajra Armor Mantra retreat course in Germany

Khandro Kunzang will be resuming the Vajra Armor Mantra retreat course (Dorje Gotrab), as developed by Lama Dawa Chhodak Rinpoche. This course is is based on the root and branch terma of Dorje Lingpa, and includes comprehensive practice instructions. It is conducted in the manner of a traditional strict, boundaried retreat. This retreat is open to all new and returning practitioners.

For new students, the requirement to attend this retreat is having taken Refuge and Bodhisattva vows. It is also preferable if you have recieved any empowerment to Guru Rinpoche.

New students will receive the rlung (verbal transmission) and pe-wang (text empowerment) during the retreat.

Both retreats will be for Level 1 or 2

Please note: many people choose to do both retreats in a row, so as to deepen their practice and progress through the course.

Costs (includes lodging, food, texts):
375 – 495 €, depending on your room assignment
Suggested donation to Khandro: 250 €

Cost for room & board at the center varies depending on room assignment (single/ double room with or

without private bathroom). We have worked out a special group discount for our retreat, and details about the accommodation options will be sent to you. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and includes three delicious vegetarian meals per day. You can see some photos from their website here.

Suggested donation to Khandro for teachings: €250, which can be made in person at the time of retreat. If you wish to send dana electronically beforehand, please send it to her personal PayPal account.

Registration is required. You will be making your reservation with the Rosenwaldhof to reserve your place. If retreats are full, you can be placed on a waiting list.

We will be performing Tsog offerings before and after the retreat. If possible, please bring edible offerings for Tsog.

Please be advised that this is a strict, boundary retreat where there is to be no communications via phone, text, messaging, etc. during the duration of the retreat. You will be asked to turn your phone and devices off.

Directions

Flying to Berlin:

Berlin airport (BER): starting S-Bahn station Schönefeld take the city train to Ostbahnhof Berlin, and then the local train (RE1) to Gross Kreutz
or: take the bus BER2 to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof, and then the local train (RE1) to Gross Kreutz  (about 90 minutes altogether)

By Train

from Berlin central station (Berlin Hbf): take the local train (RE1) to Gross Kreutz (about 45 minutes)

The Rosenwaldhof will arrange your being picked up at the station Gross Kreutz
