They are ’sog’ - life-force; ‘lu’ - body’s health; ‘wang-tang’ - personal power and prosperity; and ‘lung-ta’ - success. These forces continually fluctuate, setting us up for either an enriching, vibrant and successful life, or one of failure, obstacles and frustration. The Tantric Buddhist tradition offers a wealth of practical methods for working with these forces and how to increase and maximize their potential. ...

Feeding the Hungry Ghosts

Khandro Kunzang will continue with the series of practices based on Dudjom Lingpa’s T’hroma cycle. This practice, entitled, “The Water Offering Called, The Ambrosia Which Pervades Throughout Space,” or sometimes referred to as the “Lenchag Torma,” is an offering for the beings living in the hungry ghost realms. Making offerings to the hungry ghosts is a powerful method for repaying our karmic debts, which often show up as obstacles to our abundance. According to Lama Dawa Rinpoche’s mirror divinations, one of the major causes to poverty, lack, and financial setbacks was due to a backlog of karmic debts which we have accrued since beginningless time. To remedy this, the divinations often recommended performing this Lenchag Torma practice of making water offerings to the hungry ghosts. I witnessed time and time again that when this was done, major shifts happened in that person’s circumstances, as though the blocks preventing them from success were lifted. ...

Teachings on the Tashi Yang-Gug – How to Increase Prosperity Energy

Khandro Kunzang will give a teaching on the Tashi Yang Gug practice from the Rigdzin Sogdrup lineage. This teaching is especially for those who participated in the Kyed Pa Zhi course, and also for anyone who possesses a ‘Yang Bum’ or wealth vase. This is typically done at the beginning of a new year, but it can be done anytime one’s Yang energy has declined.
